Product Overview
With Perillon’s Continuous Data Integration
CDI Service™ module, users can
measure critical data from many source locations (or assets) and provide
simplified information visualization.
The
Perillon
CDI Service™ is capable of aggregating data
from multiple heterogeneous “up-stream” data sources.
Some examples of these sources include: continuous emissions monitoring systems
(CEMS); production systems; or energy metering systems. Perillon CDI Service is
essentially a server that is set up behind the client’s firewall which uses web
services to validate and transform client data in near real time.
The validation rules and transformation guidelines are established as part of
the customer activation process and are translated into functional code by the
Perillon
CDI Service™.
Unlike other integration technologies, the Perillon
CDI Service™ is installed behind your firewall, in your secure
environment.
The Perillon approach is a “pull” system, pulling high
volume data from your many disparate systems, versus a “push” system which
requires more set up and involves more complexity.
A wide range of “cartridges” or adapters are also available to enable data
exchange with ERP systems.
Built-in SOAP message connector
“Pull” vs. “Push” secure behind-the-firewall
